The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program develops tomorrow's leaders. Outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies are offered the opportunity to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at Oxford, as well as comprehensive leadership development, long-term mentoring, and networking program.

Scholarship outcomes are expected by the end of May 2022. Please presume that your application has been rejected if you have not heard from us by this time. SOME IMPORTANT POINTS:

When your course is finished, you should plan to return to your country of residence. Students currently at Oxford are not eligible to apply.

You should be able to show a link between your field of study and your long-term career goals, describing how you envision your professional job contributing to the betterment of public life in your home country or on a regional or worldwide scale.

During the selection process, your graduate application form, your Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement, and (if applicable) your interview will be used to evaluate your application.

This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2022-23.

 

HOW TO APPLY:

To be considered for this award, you must select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme from the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the graduate application form and submit your graduate application before the corresponding December or January deadline for your course. The deadline for your course can be found on the relevant course page.

You must also complete and submit a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement by the deadline, along with your graduate application form.

Applicants must have secured a place in their course by the applicable December or January deadline in order to be considered for this scholarship. Scholarship consideration is not available for course applications that are held over after the December or January deadlines to be re-evaluated against applications received by the March deadline, or course applications that have been placed on a waiting list.

After getting shortlisted for the scholarship, an online interview would be conducted in April/May 2022.
